Trying some new techniques

HDR photosI went out in the late hours of the afternoon to take some shots of beautiful Delfshaven in my neighbourhood. I wanted to try a technique called HDR - High Dynamic Range. It allows you to use multiple exposures of a subject and merge them together to create a range of tones and luminosity that the camera usually cannot capture. It gives you the ability to save all the highlights in the image without burning them out as well as letting all the shadow detail be preserved inside the image.
My pictures might not be the most representative shots for showing the HDR effect, but it gives a good visual impact. Have a look and let me know what you think!

surreal - pinkish?? - maybe i don’t want to see that much detail in the dark parts…
    anyway, nice experimenting!

Like you say, not your most representive shots but, the smooth details in the light and dark parts are impressive!!
